RULES
Tournament Format: Four games guaranteed per team with Championships for all divisions and Championship games in the Stadium schedule permitting.
All players must have valid USA Lacrosse Memberships.
Game Timing:
Pool Play Games
-Two 20-minute running time halves with a four minute half time.
-NO timeouts or overtime in Pool Play Games.
-All Fields have Electronic Scoreboards to keep game time. Penalty time kept at the scorers table.
-ALL Penalties are time and a half to account for running clock (i.e. 30 second penalty = 45 seconds, 1 min penalty = 90 seconds)
Playoff & Championship Rounds
-Two 20-minute running time halves with a four minute half time.
-One timeout (1-minute) per game for playoff games. This cannot be used in the last two minutes of either half or at all in overtime.
Rules:
- All Divisions will be officiated per USA Lacrosse Rules for that age group. USA Lacrosse Rules Matrix can be found HERE
Standing and Tie Breakers:
In the event of tied records, the following tiebreaker system will apply (in order):
#1-Head-to-head result
#2-Goal Against
#3-Coin Toss
Rosters:
Rosters are due by midnight on Wednesday the week of the tournament.
Any team that does not have a roster submitted BY THE START of the tournament on Saturday may not eligible for playoff brackets on Sunday
Players may only be rostered on one team per tournament.
If a team director/coach needs a player to play up for a team in a DIFFERENT division to supplement a roster with low numbers, this must be pre-approved by the tournament directors.
Teams and players must meet the age requirements for their registered division
All players must have USA Lacrosse membership as part of the age verification process.
Playing in an incorrect age division may result in team disqualification and forfeiture of all games.
Violations: Any violations of the above guidelines by a program/team will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may result in the forfeiture of a game and/or forfeiture of eligibility to participate in playoff brackets on Sunday.
